Fimfare award for the best female playback singer for the year 2005 for her song "Evaraina Chusuntara"
from the film "Anukokunda Oka Roju"..

With over Two million albums sold, 150 concerts in eight countries and 70 playback songs, Smita has
established an unparalleled legacy for herself. She influenced the entire country with "Hai Rabba"...her
first Hindi album released in the year 2000 by Archies Music. This album was later dubbed in to Telugu.
With this album she emerged as the first Telugu girl born and brought up in A.P. to find a place in
the national top charts for several weeks. Her second album, "Hairama" in Hindi and "Koilamma" in Telugu
were released in 2001 and the third album "Masaka Masaka".., a remix album in Telugu was released in
th year 2003 which recorded sensational sales. Smita continued to give more chartbusters with the album
"Oho Basti Dorasani"..in Telugu and "Leke Pehla Pehla Pyar" from the album "Miss Sweet Honey Mix"
in the year 2004. The Album "Club Mix" was released in 2005 and the Tamil version of this album named
"Kalakkal", which happens to be her first Tamil album was released by Sony Music in 2004. This album
turned out to be a chartbuster and created a new trend in the Tamil pop scene.
