For Tsunami Victims
My heart goes to the victims of Tsunami.Lets all do our part in helping them in this time of need. I am starting my new year by contributing Rs.One lakh to the CM relief fund... said Smita on 31st night at Pragati Resort before starting her performance.

On 1ts January she met the Chief Minister and handed over a cheque for Rs.One Lakh.

For the Physically handicapped and Deaf and Dumb kids
Smita contributes Rs.5000/- every month to support the children of Theresa Institute for physically handicapped at Khammam.

Orphanage
An orphanage with over 40 children is being run by Smita's grandfather at Poranki Village, Near Vijayawada. Smita often visits this place with gifts for the children and spends time with them.
